Remedy is reportedly working on a sequel to the Alan Wake Supernatural Game

Maintaining its focus as an action game developer with a touch of a typical Hollywood film story, Remedy Entertainment is still being bombarded with questions about the fate of Alan Wake. This supernatural-themed game, which was released about a decade ago, was indeed very iconic in its time, and still has a loyal fan base looking forward to the sequel.

Remedy’s own party has expressed their interest and even had time to develop Alan Wake 2, which unfortunately reached a dead end so that it could not be continued anymore. The presence of the AWE expansion in the Control game has again attracted the enthusiasm of fans who hoped that Alan Wake would rise again, and it seems that this hope could actually be realized.

Through the latest report from Jeff Grub who is a well-known journalist from Venturebeat, he said that “Alan Wake 2” is one of the new games that Remedy is currently preparing. The project itself gets help from Epic Games which will definitely be tied to the exclusive rights of the game on the Epic Games Store platform, and even then if this information is legit and the game is actually being developed.

Jeff Grub himself is a trusted source and often provides leaked information that is right on target. His position in the gaming industry is quite similar to that of journalist Jason Schreier who is better known as a trusted source when it comes to rumors and leaks. Remedy’s interest, the project that was discontinued, and the high demand from fans seems to have been enough guarantee that Alan Wake 2 seems to be able to be realized in the future. For now what is clear we can only be patient waiting for official confirmation.
