'Goblin Slayer' Anime Finally Gets Season 2 Continuation
Following the successful screening of its anime adaptation, Goblin Slayer is finally ready to pamper fans with another new adventure. Through the latest announcement from the GA Fes 2021 livestream session last weekend, White Fox studio finally announced the continuation of season 2 for the Goblin Slayer anime.
For the time being, there is not much information shared including the broadcast schedule. However, they have released a new key visual that shows all the main characters in the Goblin Slayer group. Actually the continuation of the anime has been known to fans since then, because the studio at the end of episode 12 of the first season gave a message that “Goblin Slayer will return”.
Goblin Slayer is a novel series by Kumo Kagyu which debuted in 2016. This series then received an anime adaptation from studio White Fox, which was then also followed by an anime film titled Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown. Thanks to the experience of the studio, the quality of the adaptation of Demon Slayer so far is quite satisfactory, both in terms of story pacing and visuals.
This series tells the story of an adventurer who is nicknamed “Goblin Slayer”. He is a mysterious character who lives his daily life as a professional Goblin hunter. At least until fate brought him together with Priestess and her new friends. That’s where Goblin Slayer finally has ambition and a stronger hero’s soul.
Goblin Slayer had become the subject of widespread discussion, especially since the first episode was broadcast which was quite surprising and had invited controversy. Apart from all that, Goblin Slayer is a pretty solid fantasy-themed series and can be a recommendation for those of you who like the genre.
When will the anime air?
So like the information above, the anime Goblin Slayer season 2 is currently still in production by White Fox. They have not provided a definite broadcast schedule, but more information will certainly be shared periodically in the future.
