Starbreeze Collaborates with Acer to Develop StarVR
Developer games Starbreeze announced their latest partnership with electronics giant Acer to develop headset High resolution VR, StarVR, with a theme park.

The latest release issued by Starbreeze itself finally reveals their collaboration with Acer in designing, producing, promoting, to marketing and selling StarVR HMD to professionals and the entertainment-focused market. Expected to fetch a premium price (about $1,000), StarVR uses two full size display measuring 5.5 inches and a resolution of 5120 x 1440 and viewing angles reach 210 degrees horizontally.
“Acer is thrilled to be joining Starbreeze in bringing StarVR to the public. We devote resources from various aspects of the VR ecosystem to get a high-quality experience by releasing desktop and notebook ready for StarVR. Starbreeze and Acer themselves share the same goal of delivering best-in-class VR applications and we look forward to bringing the latest in VR through this partnership,” said Jason Chen, Acer Corporate President and CEO.
