Street Fighter V Showcases Akira Kazama's Gameplay from Rival Schools
The new evolution that Capcom brought to Monster Hunter, Resident Evil and Devil May Cry suddenly made fans want them to do the same for the fighting game franchise. Even though we haven’t received a fighting game from Capcom that comes with high-end quality for the past few years, they are still actively providing support to Street Fighter V. The game has even entered Season 5 which comes with a variety of interesting content, with fans’ attention being drawn to it. on one of the most interesting new characters, Akira Kazama.
Following the announcement of its content roadmap last year, Capcom recently shared new details including the first gameplay video for Akira Kazama. The gameplay video shows the action of Akira’s fighting style that is still maintained, with a combination of clever fist and foot attacks. At the end of the video, we are even shown with Akira’s V-Trigger skill calling for help from his brother Daigo Kazama.
For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the character, Akira is one of the favorite fighter characters from Rival Schools: United by Fate and Project Justice. He is a student of Gedo High School with excellent Chinese martial arts skills, and also has a fierce character when wearing a biker-style costume. But when not wearing a costume, the character’s demeanor becomes more friendly and looks like a gentle girl.
Akira is only one of a variety of other content that Capcom presents in Season 5 for Street Fighter V, because there are still Dan Hibiki, Rose, Oro to add new costumes, new stages too, and many more. All content has been released in stages through the fall of this year, with Akira Kazama’s DLC still targeted for summer.
If you are interested in the game, Street Fighter V happens to have been released in the Champion Edition version which you can play on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. This is the best edition you can get thanks to the complete content and various other updates that have been brought since the game’s first release.
