Three Games From The 90's Anime Series

There are lots of 90s anime series that are loved by Indonesian audiences. Most of these series are still ongoing today in several different media. Maybe they get a sequel series, a remake series, or become a game.

Yesterday we covered three mobile games based on the Captain Tsubasa series. Today we will cover three games from three different 90s anime series.

Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac

The first game is from the series Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac. This series follows the story of Seiya and other ‘Saints’ who have been blessed with the ‘Cloth’ armor and the ‘Cosmo’ powers. Their job is to protect Saori Kido, the reincarnation of the ancient Greek Goddess, Athena.

In this game called Saint Seiya Awakening: Knights of the Zodiac, players will use their six knights to fight their enemies. Players will want to build their team with a certain synergy to rule the battlefield. This game will test the player’s character to find the right solution for certain opponents.

Apart from that, the art style of Saint Seiya Awakening (SSA) is very beautiful and worthy of this series. All characters are made in 3D with detail and precision. Not only character models, SSA also has original music that brings back the nostalgic feeling of the series. So far, SSA has honored the manga series, and is one of the games in the Saint Seiya series that best captures the feel of the series.

The next series is the Beyblade series. This series based on gangbang has gone through several different series, with Beyblade Burst as the newest series. Surely readers who have played beyblade remember trying to play Beyblade on a pot after watching the cartoon?

The premise of this game is quite simple. Players will customize their own Beyblade which will be used to defeat the opponent’s Beyblade. Much like in the anime, players will be able to control their Beyblade’s movements via the touch screen. By winning matches, players will earn Beyblade parts which they can then use to make their Beyblades stronger.

This game can be played online against players from over 90 countries around the world. In addition, this application can be used to control the Beyblade Remote Control (RC) in the real world. Take on your friends to recreate the Beyblade match from the anime!

DIGIMON ReArise

The last game on this list is DIGIMON ReArise from the Digimon series. The series that was originally formed as a toy virtual pet Like Tamagotchi, Digimon began to be known by audiences around the world through the Digimon Adventure anime series and the Digimon World game.

Many fans have compared this series to and liked it more than the Pokemon series, due to its more mature themes compared to the lighter Pokemon stories. The Digimon name itself is most famous for its first two anime series, Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure 02. This series follows a select few children who enter the digital world and befriend their partner Digimon.
