Dendi And XBOCT Will Reunite In Na'Vi's Dota 2 Team As Player-Coaches

Veteran player from the Dota 2 Na’Vi team, Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, will reunite with Alexander “XBOCT” Dashkevich in the Ukrainian team. But this time not as a fellow player but as a player-coach.

These two players were teammates for 5 years under the Na’Vi team. Both XBOCT and Dendi became the face of the Natus Vincere team in Dota 2 because of their cohesiveness. With the compactness of the two of them, the Na’Vi team became the first team to win The International tournament in 2011. Then they got second place at TI 2 and TI 3 and then slumped to 7-8 positions at TI 4.

After the failure in The International 5 which made them only manage to be in 14th position, the Na’Vi team decided to disband the team for a while. As we know, the Na’Vi team only defends Dendi one person. So XBOCT had to be eliminated from the Na’Vi team and moved to several teams such as Team Empire, Fantastic Five, and Team Spirit. After that XBOCT decided to stop as a player and continue his E-Sports career as a broadcaster.

Now XBOCT is back to the Na’Vi team that once made its name after the Ukrainian team got worse when they were only able to reach 13-16 positions at TI 6 and worse, they failed to qualify for The International 7 this year.

Hopefully the presence of XBOCT as a coach will be able to lift the performance of the Na’Vi team.
