Evos Capital Wins Free Fire World Cup 2021 in Thailand

GridGames.ID – The Evos Capital team, which represented Indonesia, won first place at the Free Fire World Cup 2021 which was held April 7, 2021 in Bangkok, Thailand.

They managed to beat teams from other countries that took part in the 2021 Free Fire World Cup, such as Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Russia, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Vietnam, Malaysia, and the host, Thailand.

At the Free Fire World Cup 2021, Indonesia also brought the SFI eSports team who managed to become the third winner.

For this victory, Evos Capital received a cash prize of 1.6 million THB which is equivalent to 710 million rupiah, also SFI eSports received a cash prize of 320 thousand THB which is equivalent to 142 million rupiah.

The two teams became Indonesia’s representative team after being ranked in the top two at the 2021 Free Fire Indonesia Masters tournament which was held at Mall Taman Anggrek, Jakarta, last March.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Imam Nahrawi, also appreciated the achievements of the two teams by congratulating him on his Instagram account.

“Our eSports athletes succeeded in making Indonesia Raya reverberate and red and white fluttered in Thailand. The Evos Capital Free Fire team managed to become world champions at the Free Fire World Cup 2021. Congratulations to the SFI eSports team for reaching 3rd place, stay motivated,” he wrote.

The title won by Evos Capital in the Free Fire World Cup is not an easy thing, because until the second match, the two teams still occupy the lowest position in the standings, namely 11th and 12th position with a score of 155 and 140 points, respectively.
