Latest PUBG PC Update Taking Inspiration from Apex Legends

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds PC has just been updated and a new feature seems rather obvious and will be of convenient use to players who are also playing Apex Legends. While Apex Legends has its issues, it’s hard to argue with the effectiveness of its ping system, which allows players to tag enemies, weapons, items, or other contextual notes for teammates. Now PUBG got a similar system like that in the form of Radio Message.

In update #30 which will be tested in today’s test server, players can now click mouse wheel or Lock F3 to open the Radio Message wheel. Here players can choose several messages to send to teammates, whether players need bullets or medicine or just want to thank teammates for the help provided.

If PUBG players approach an item or see an enemy, selecting “ping” from the wheel interface will convey the position of the item or enemy to their teammates. This allows players to choose what is needed and what is not needed, using voice chat to continuously communicate and strategize with their troops.

PUBG gets another feature as inspired by Apex Legends today with the introduction ‘ledge grabbing’. The trick is when the player jumps, keep pressing the “keyboard spacebar” (or another key that the player has set himself to jump) to hold the end of the bar, roof or container. PUBG Corp. stated that the end of the bar function will come in a later update.

In addition, there are also new vehicles and weapons for this update;

New Vehicle: BRDM-2

The BRDM-2 can only be found as a special Guard Pack using the Flare Gun on all maps and it replaces the shielded UAZ.
Characteristic features
- The number of HP BRDM-2 is 2500 and the immunity is double compared to UAZ, the tire will not be damaged
- Durable bullet-resistant vehicles that can reduce damage include bullet-based attacks as well as hand bombs and red zone damage.
- The BRDM-2 is an amphibious vehicle that can continue to flow on the water, but players are not allowed to shoot while on the water.
- It has a capacity of up to four players on a boat, and the top water speed is 22km/h and the highest speed on the highway is 102km/h when pushed.

New Weapon: Deagle

The Deagle is a pistol that deals the most damage of the strongest pistols with a large muzzle rate and will be present on all maps.
The Deagle can deal 62 damage per shot and can incorporate reddot, holosight, all mazazines and laser sights which increase fire accuracy.
With greater than average gun damage and high speed it’s getting harder to control the retreat.
The Deagle has a single firemode type that uses ACP .45 rounds and a standard magazine fit for 7 rounds. (It can be continued to 10 with a continuation magazine)
