MiHoYo Has Prepared 10 Years Plans for Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact is one of the games that get hit quite big last year. How not, just a few months of release, this game managed to collect 40 million players. Not surprisingly, the growth rate of this game is increasing rapidly. Despite making huge profits, miHoYo has reportedly been planning a 10-year plan for Genshin Impact.
miHoYo’s 10-Year Plan for Genshin Impact
You need to know, miHoYo will release updates every six weeks. That means, there are about 42 days for each released version. Interestingly, miHoYo has been preparing their plans for 5 years. However, the developer apparently changed it to 12 years considering the huge profits they got.
This leak itself comes from Arkywzx which is one of the leaker trusted in the Genshin Impact community. This leak itself is reinforced by the fact that miHoYo has delayed a lot of content that should have been released in the current version. For example, the presence of The Chasm in v1.5 which unfortunately had to be delayed.
However, miHoYo’s plan for Genshin Impact is actually quite interesting. Because they have to produce content that will sustain this game for a long time. If this information is true, fans will get a lot of new content over the course of 10 years.
miHoYo income from GI
Based on existing reports, miHoYo made a profit of $800 million or around Rp. 11 trillion. This income is quite large for miHoYo, which only releases a few games. In addition, this number also shows that miHoYo’s achievement cannot be separated from Genshin Impact.
For your information, Sensor Tower reports that from September to November 2020, Genshin Impact earned $393 million in revenue, or around Rp. 5.5 trillion. This achievement beat the records of PUBG Mobile and also Pokemon GO.
At least, Daniel said that Genshin Impact at least managed to get a profit of up to $100 million or around Rp. 1.4 trillion in 2020. They got this achievement after Genshin Impact was released for two weeks. In addition, miHoYo itself has made a return on investment due to achieving that income.
