Over 2 Million Accounts and 1.4 Million Devices Banned
PUBG Mobile has managed to find millions of cheat user accounts and features a new advanced anti-cheat system.
Cheaters in competitive games are not new. Even in official tournaments, some pro players were caught using cheats. This is a problem that the developers continue to monitor from year to year.

A few days ago, PUBG Mobile announced the development of their anti-cheat system. In their twitter account, they announced that a total of 2,273,152 accounts and 1,424,854 devices had been banned in a period of seven days, August 20 to August 27.
For a relatively short period of time, these numbers are impressive. Of the millions of accounts, the developer also ranks the types of cheats and hacks found.
List of Banned PUBG Mobile Cheats
Following are the types and categories of cheats/hacks found by the PUBG Mobile anti-cheat system:
- Speed Cheats: If you see a player moving too fast & abnormally, generally use speed cheats. 12% banned using this cheat.
- Auto-Aim Cheats: One of the hacks that is often used for auto-aim. 27% of the total banned players use this cheat.
- X-Ray Vision: This cheat is the most widely used, allowing players to wall-hack or monitor enemies remotely. A total of 32% of players were banned.
- Modification of Area Damage: Hackers can kill enemies instantly by increasing bullet damage. Total 4%.
- Modification of Character Model: Using third party plugins. 3% total.

New PUBG Mobile Anti-Cheat System Features
Last month, Tencent just released the PUBG anti-cheat system to detect cheat spectators or x-ray vision users. Judging from the total bans this month, the system has succeeded in catching cheated x-ray vision users.
Now, PUBG Mobile announces another new feature, namely Video Review Station. With this system, players can report other players with the help of the PUBG community. If the video gets high review points (the community agrees that there is an element of cheating), the player will be considered guilty. Then, the video will be sent to an official party for verification. Sophisticated huh?
The developer also reminds cheaters of sanctions from cheat and hack users, which is 10 years ban. It seems, they are really serious in dealing with this issue to ensure the game is fair.
