Star Wars Celebration 2021 Officially Canceled, Here’s the Explanation! – The official annual Star Wars celebration has been cancelled. The causes are below.

Every year, Lucasfilm holds a Star Wars Celebration where it reveals new information about its upcoming Star Wars properties. Includes leaks about the main film, TV branch, and Star Wars game. Unfortunately, this year Disney was forced to cancel the annual convention due to health concerns caused by the Coronavirus.

House of Mouse has given a rescheduled date for their fans. While it may disappoint some but Star Wars Celebration 2021 will resume on August 18-21, 2022. It is not clear why 2021 is skipped, but it may just be due to Disney’s over-vigilance over the current pandemic.

Although Star Wars Celebration 2021 has been cancelled, Disney has confirmed that all tickets purchased are refundable by the August 26 deadline. Fans have the option of getting cash or credit for Star Wars Celebration 2021 merchandise, or simply transferring their tickets to the 2022 celebrations. If you choose to transfer tickets, later fans will get an exclusive Storm Trooper character pin.

Star Wars Celebration merchandise will be available in the online store for you to purchase. So that fans will not be too disappointed because of this cancellation. Although news of cancellations or delays is always disappointing, but this time it’s better to be safe than sorry. Luckily all Star Wars fans have understood Disney’s decision.
