GridGames.ID – At the end of 2021, Garena held the biggest international tournament for one of its games, Free Fire.

Titled Free Fire Continental Series (FFCS) 2021, this tournament consists of three series, Americas Series, EMEA Series, and Asia Series.

Considering that the Covid-19 pandemic is still not over, this international Free Fire tournament will be completely held virtually.

All three are held simultaneously in each region and will feature the best teams from each country to fight for the top spot.

Countries participating in the three series are Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam for the Asia Series; Brazil and other Latin America for the Americas Series; and the EMEA Series which will feature Europe, Russia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The prizes up for grabs in each series are USD 300,000 or Rp. 4.4 billion, so the total combined prize for FFCS 2021 is USD 900,000 or around Rp. 13.2 billion.

To get it, each team must go through two rounds, namely Play-in and Grand Final.

The winner of the national level tournament will get a direct position to the Grand Final of each series.

Indonesia itself will be represented by EVOS Esports, which won the Free Fire Indonesia Masters 2021 Fall in October 2021.
