GridGames.ID – BUBU.COM again holds its annual event, namely IDBYTE, the biggest technology event in Indonesia which is held every two years since 2011.

Unlike the previous event, this year IDBYTE 2021 will raise eSports as its main theme with the tagline “Gaming for Change” and received support from Kemenkominfo, Kemenpora and BEKRAF.

IDBYTE ESPORTS 2021, which is also supported by Sinar Mas Land, will take place on 13 – 14 September 2021 at ICE (Indonesia Convention and Exhibition) BSD.

“Esports is a perfect convergence between the world of sports and digitalization. Therefore, its presence must be supported as early as possible so that Indonesia is able to become a leading nation in this sector, while it is still in the early stages of its development,” said Rudiantara as the Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia in his remarks at the IDBYTE press conference. ESPORTS 2021 at the Kemenkominfo Building, Jakarta (27/8).

Rudiantara also said that many young Indonesians have excelled and are able to take advantage of eSports, especially becoming international achievers.

“For this reason, the Ministry of Communication and Information is always ready to support this industry by providing infrastructure and ecosystems that can support its development,” continued Rudiantara.

IDBYTE ESPORTS 2021 itself offers a new experience in the eSports industry through a series of events in the form of Conferences, PUBG Mobile Tournaments by Tencent and Talent Hunt.
