Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed Shares Asian Version Release Information

As if present as a game that answers the hidden desires of otaku, Akiba’s Trip is a JRPG series made by Acquire that has succeeded in creating a unique concept, where the role of otaku or webu people can finally be emitted as true heroes. In order to attract the attention of more new fans, Acquire has preparing a remastered version from the original game Akiba’s Trip Plus (PSP) in the latest version of Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc. as a publisher recently finally shared the latest information for the release of the game version in the Asian region. So the game will be marketed in two sales packages, namely the standard version which is set at USD 39.99 (approximately IDR 577 thousand) and the Limited Edition version at a price of USD 69.99 (approximately IDR 1 million).

Our attention is focused on the Limited Edition package which turns out to bring a lot of additional content. The content itself includes original games, special boxes with artwork from Tanu, Complete Guides, Artbooks, and Soundtrack CDs. For a sales package that is set at a price that is quite affordable and the same as the price of AAA games on the market, this is indeed an offer that is hard to miss.

For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the game, Akiba’s Trip is a hilarious adventure game where you have to deal with a huge threat from the invasion of vampire creatures called “Shadow Souls”. These creatures prey on the life energy of the people of Akihabara, but you can defeat them by stripping their clothes to expose them to the sun which is Shadow Souls’ main weakness.

When is the Game Released?

Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed is scheduled for release on May 20 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc. also confirmed that the Asian version of the game will arrive on the same schedule as the Japanese region. As for the western region, publisher XSEED had confirmed that the game would be released in 2021 but without a definite schedule.
