Cool Abis, Demon Slayer Game - Hinokami Keppuutan Shows Sabito and Makomo's Gameplay
Success in reaching the peak of high popularity in the anime industry, it’s no secret that Demon Slayer is getting a lot of attention from new fans. Apart from the booming anime adaptation, especially after the screening of the Mugen Train film, this series has finally received a new game adaptation by CyberConnect2 with the title Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan. To increase the enthusiasm of fans, recently Bandai Namco finally released a gameplay video of the characters Sabito and Makomo.
This latest gameplay video shows Sabito and Makomo’s fighting style which relies on water breathing techniques. Even though the fans can’t see the action of the two in the manga or anime for some reason, but in this game they can finally show their skills on the battlefield with a pretty interesting fighting style. Instead of being curious, you can watch the gameplay video below.
Despite taking inspiration from Naruto Storm, it seems that the combo variations in this game are more limited, such as how the finisher animation at the end of the combo has so far only accommodated consecutive attacks, and unlike in Naruto Storm which has more than one variation.
The roster shown so far is still limited to the main characters, so in the future we can anticipate the details of the Pillars. If you follow the plot of the anime adaptation, our predictions that the Pillar members that will appear in this game are still limited to Giyu, Shinobu, and Kyojuro only. As we discussed in previous articles, this directly opens up the possibility that the game will get a sequel in the future. Examples such as how Naruto Storm continues to four games that continue the story of the series to the end.
When is the Game Released?
For those who can’t wait for the game, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hinokami Keppuutan is scheduled for release this year. For the platform, this game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
