Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Shares New Details of Episode Yuffie!

While waiting for the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is still in development, Square Enix has prepared a surprise for fans with the latest definitive version of the first game for PlayStation 5. Titled Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, this game features a variety of quality improvements including additional content. special in the form of story episodes that focus on the character Yuffie Kisaragi.

To increase fans’ enthusiasm, recently Square Enix share new details in the form of screenshots and the latest information from the new episode, which we finally know is called “EPISODE INTERmission”. Taking the setting of the story precisely after the Mako Reactor 5 bombing, this latest episode tells the adventures of Yuffie and her partner Sonon on a mission to snatch special Materia from the hands of the Shinra company. Unknowingly, they end up caught up in a new event that is unexpected and full of consequences.

This episode will be summarized in two chapters, in which Yuffie and Sonon are available as new playable characters. During the fight you can do tag-team attacks with Sonon which makes the two feel like a fighting duo that fits together. Yuffie’s uniqueness also lies in his ability to interact with the environment, such as how he can perform Ninja-style movements by throwing shuriken, wall-running, and other acrobatic actions.

The latest details shared also shed a spotlight on several new NPC characters that are specifically featured in the INTERmission EPISODE, some of which are Zhijie the insider who is good at manipulating circumstances, Nayo the beautiful Avalanche HQ member, and several other NPCs who act as story supporters. Not to forget, this latest episode will also feature Weiss who is the antagonist character from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.

In addition, Square Enix has announced the voice actors for each of the important characters in the latest episodes (Japanese and English versions). You can see a list of the names of the voice actors below:
