Studio Ghibli is Building a Real World Version of Howl's Moving Castle!

Have you ever imagined how the fantasy world in the Studio Ghibli anime film can be realized in the real world? This dream, which is only a dream, will actually be realized through the opening of the Studio Ghibli playground. The playground, which is planned to open in 2022, is even rumored to be making a real-world version of Howl’s Moving Castle.

For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the name, Howl’s Moving Castle is a moving castle from the Studio Ghibli film of the same name. The castle became an iconic focus in the film due to its very attractive design. But the real-world version of Howl’s Moving Castle will only be buildings of a similar design, so don’t expect the castle to work. Not only that, the size will also be made smaller but still contain design elements from the object of inspiration.

In addition to the cool looking replica of a moving castle, the Studio Ghibli theme park will include many other cool rides. One of the most eye-catching is the village from the anime film Princess Mononoke. The Studio Ghibli playground will be divided into areas with different attractions. A new tourist site that is definitely a must for fans of Studio Ghibli and its anime films.

Hopefully the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic will no longer exist when the playground opens in 2022. If in the future you are interested in visiting the playground, this tourist site is located at Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park. The place is located near Nagoya, Japan. The location happened to be the venue for the 2005 World Expo which was very busy at that time.
