Na'Vi Recruits a 13-Year-Old Boy to Become a CS:GO Academy Player
Natus Vincere (Na’Vi), a Ukrainian esports organization, announced that they have just recruited a 13-year-old “wonder kid” to join their Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) academy roster. They announced this after making an overhaul to their CS:GO academy roster which had just been done some time before.
Through their social media, Na’Vi announced that they had just recruited a 13 year old boy to play on their academy CS:GO team. Dmytro “Dem0N” Myroshnychenko received the offer from Na’Vi, after the boy from Dnipro, Ukraine recorded a good performance on the FACEIT platform.

Reporting from afkgaming.com and hltv.org, Dima (little nickname for Dmytro) has a level 10 FACEIT account with an Elo rating of 3300. In addition, from the 1977 matches he has completed, Dima is able to bag a victory of 53%, with an average ratio K/D 1.37 and 58% headshot accuracy. If you look at the average statistics, it can be said that Dima is very talented for his age and has bright prospects if he is trained and guided properly.

“A gifted 13-year-old is a real example when we want to prepare a strategy for the long term,” says Na’VI COO Alexey “xaoc” Kucherov. He also said that Na’Vi would be happy to support Dima to pursue a professional career, so that when he turns 16, he will have the experience and the best team to support him.
The announcement about Dima joining Na’Vi was quite surprising, the problem was that some time before, Na’Vi had just announced that they were doing a major overhaul of their CS:GO academy roster. Even Na’Vi even released 3 academy players who defended Na’Vi Junior.
Apart from Dima Na’Vi, it seems that they will still be looking for 2 other young players who are intended to fill the remaining 2 places. This means that young CS:GO players in the CIS region (Eastern Europe and Russia) have the opportunity to join Na’Vi’s academy. In addition to streamlining its academic program, Na’Vi will also open a website dedicated to this program.
In the future, these young players can register on the website to simplify the selection and recruitment process that will take place throughout the year! This is of course good news for those who since childhood have wanted to seriously pursue the profession of pro player esports.
Dima is an example that young talent in the world of esports exists and must be honed and sought after. Before Dima became Na’Vi’s young recruit, previously there was also a wonder kid in the esports world who attracted the attention of many people, his name was Verjgang in FIFA21 esports.
Hopefully this young seed program will not only be present in Europe, because Indonesia actually has a lot of young potential that can be developed and explored in the field of esports. Hopefully in the future there will be parties who provide this program for talents in Indonesia!
