Platformer Inside from Creators Limbo Coming to Nintendo Switch
Inside is a platform game from the creators of Limbo, and it’s rumored that Inside is coming to Switch. This was confirmed by the playdead in an interview with Famitsu.
The Danish developer confirmed that Inside will be the first game they release on Nintendo’s console. Their previous game, Limbo, was released on almost all platforms including Android but was never released on the Wii or Wii U.
Now it doesn’t just stop at Limbo, developer Playdead makes a game which is a development of Limbo, entitled Inside. So far, only a trailer has been presented about a teenager running around the city filled with a group of people who act like robots, several times we also see this teenager hiding behind wooden boxes to avoid spotlights, what exactly is going on in the city. this? What is this kid trying to do? Perhaps we are again given the opportunity to provide our own theory of what is really going on in the Inside world.
Unlike Limbo, which is predominantly black and white, now we have a world with more diverse colors, even though it is still dark and also at first glance looks the same as monochrome. However, the shadow effect that seems to create a light curtain adds a plus for the artwork side of this game as well. The dynamic lighting of each level also makes us feel more immersed in the dystopian world that Inside has to offer.
Influencing the mechanics of this game is the impact of applying 3D graphics. If in Limbo we can only see the game from the 2D platformer side, then from the trailer we saw Inside has a 3D design that will clearly increase the level of difficulty of each puzzle that we face in this game.
But unfortunately there is no definite date for the release of the Switch version. But last year’s award-winning game is already available for PC, Playstiation 4, and Xbox One.
