PUBG Mobile Announces Exclusive Collaboration with BLACKPINK

Last week PUBG Mobile’s social media exploded with hype after they released a teaser pointing towards a collaboration with BLACKPINK. K-pop fans worldwide must already know the name BLACKPINK, so it’s only natural that a lot of hype has accumulated from the teasers so far.

Today the collaboration has been officially announced, and PUBG Mobile has released the details to all excited fans around the world. From September 24 to October 2, PUBG Mobile players will be able to listen to BLACKPINK’s newly released popular single, “How You Like That,” in the game lobby. After BLACKPINK releases their new album, “The Album”, on October 2nd, players will be able to listen to the new song that will replace it in the lobby game.

Special themed items and visuals have been implemented in PUBG Mobile to celebrate this collaboration and for players to see BLACKPINK’s iconic style in the game. Airdrop planes in PUBG Mobile will now also be pink and use the BLACKPINK logo. Additionally the airdrop pack will now use the colors and icons from “The Album”, as well as emit pink smoke. In addition, visual effects have been added to the main PUBG Mobile page.

BLACKPINK members Jennie, Lisa, Jisso, and Rosé have created their own game accounts in PUBG Mobile. By searching for their UserID via PUBG Mobile social media, players can send exclusive collaboration gifts and leave messages for their favorite members.

Fans who send the most menstruation from now until October 8 will get a special gift from BLACKPINK. In addition, there will also be an in-game support event that runs from September 24 to October 9. PUBG Mobile players and BLACKPINK fans can complete missions to get support points. By supporting BLACKPINK in-game, players will have the chance to win permanent custom such as “Adorable Panda Suit” and “Killer Cadet Set”, as well as a signed version of BLACKPINK’s new album.

In addition to participating in in-game events, community members can upload their PUBG Mobile x BLACKPINK screenshots to social media with the hashtag #PUBGMxBLACKPINK for more chances to win signed albums.
