Siren Moon Sanctioned Again Due to Najel's 'Naughty Finger' Action at the WSL Event

The Siren Esports team is back in the spotlight again and again regarding the “naughty finger” gesture incident. This incident was recorded when the Mobile Legends ladies division, Siren Moon competed in the Woman Star League Season 2. One of the Siren Moon members, Najel, was seen pointing his middle finger at the camera (video on youtube). Regarding this matter, the WSL organizers immediately gave a strict sanction in the form of a ban on Najel playing when Siren faced Alter Ego NYX in the lower bracket final.

Whether intentional or not, Najel’s actions, even if only for a few seconds, are certainly very unfortunate. The reason is, at that time the Siren team was indeed undergoing a WSL competitive scene which held a special tournament for the ladies of Mobile Legends players. WSL has emphasized that every player and team must comply with the rules regarding attitude.

As a pro player, especially when competing online, inevitably the gestures and expressions recorded by the camera and witnessed by the audience can have an immediate impact. What Najel did certainly provoked a public reaction. This is because Siren Esports recently stumbled upon a “naughty finger” case involving Siren Valanyr and Ivan Laf and Ivan Laf as manager.

The action of Najel raising his middle finger and caught on camera has been witnessed by the eyes of many spectators. Whatever the motive, it’s not nice to give an inappropriate gesture in an official competition. In addition to upholding the customary values of decency, it seems there are more ways to express oneself to always maintain an attitude of sportsmanship. Until this article was published, Siren Esports had not given an official statement of action to Najel.
