The Biggest E-sports Tournament in Indonesia, PBNC 2017 Held Again
“Reach your dream” is a theme that continues to be echoed from year to year for Garena Point Blank Indonesia’s biggest annual national tournament, Point Blank National Championship (PBNC). With a total prize of 1.5 billion rupiah and the honor to represent Indonesia in international tournaments, Point Blank International Championship (PBIC) 2017, PBNC 2017 is the place where the dreams of Troopers (as Point Blank players) shine in the world of e-sports come true. In addition to the total prizes that touched fantastic numbers, the scale of PBNC 2017 which was held in 60 cities throughout Indonesia also further confirmed PBNC 2017 as the largest e-sports tournament in Indonesia.
Troopers can register their teams starting on July 7, 2017 then online online (http://esports.pb.garena.co.id/pbnc), where they will go through 3 stages before securing the position of the 2017 PBNC Champion. The first stage is the city elimination, which will be held every Saturday and Sunday, from the 12th August to September 10 2017. Like last year, the city tournament is divided into two types of qualifiers, namely close qualification held in the first to the third week, and open qualification held in the last week. In close qualification, participants can only register in the city according to their domicile, while in open qualification, all participants can register without limited domicile.
The champion from each city at this stage will receive a cash prize of up to 5 million rupiah, according to the number of participants. They will then continue their journey to the regional tournament stage with the system group stage in tournament format on line, which was held on 23-24 September 2017 for the eastern and western regions, and 30 September – 1 October 2017 for the central region 1 and 2. The three best teams from each region will be entitled to a ticket to the final stage, the 2017 PBNC Grand Final in October. .
