The Effect Team from the CIS Region Brings 2 Players to the PGL Open Bucharest

The CIS team, Effect, will start a new competition season with a roster change that they will use later when participating in the Open Minor tournament qualification, namely PGL Open Bucharest.

In July 2017, Igor “Maden” Modenov and Aleksey “Nongrata” Vasilyev decided to part ways with the Effect team which left the CIS team short of 2 players. Now the manager of the Effect team, Alexandr “BatyaRampage” Kolos, has stated that they have selected the right players for their team for the past 2 months.

From the results of their selection, finally the first choice fell to a veteran player, namely Andrey “Mag” Chipenko who played with the Mineski team in the SEA regional for 1 season ago. Then the second player is Vadim “Sedoy” Musorin who left the team in early 2017 to join the Cyber Anji team which unfortunately had to disband 1 month after his arrival.

The team has been training together at the Effect team’s training ground and is gearing up for the various qualifiers that will soon open for the new competitive season over the next few weeks. They have started the open qualifier period for the CIS regional at the PGL Open Bucharest Minor with a positive result.

The following is the roster of the Effect team:

– Vadim ‘Sedoy’ Musorin
– Andrey ‘Afoninje’ Afonin
– Andrey ‘Mag’ Chipenko
– Arseniy ‘ArsZeeqq’ Usov
– Rinat ‘KingR’ Abdullin
