A Twitch Streamer Live Streams From Inside a Cambodian Prison

The Twitch streaming service is indeed being discussed because one of the big streamers, Ninja, has just announced that he will be leaving Twitch and switching to another live stream, namely Mixer. The news about Ninja hasn’t finished yet, recently a streamer was arrested by the police in Cambodia. The streamer who is famous for his ‘madness’ does not stop just because he is detained. Streamer named rappiomatkaaja this live stream in prison and of course watched by many viewers.

Reported from Gamerant, rappiomatkaaja arrested at a Cambodian airport on his way back to his home country of Finland. According to the rumors, the arrest rappiomatkaaja rumored to be related to illegal drugs, pornography and more. Unfortunately it’s just a rumor, there has been no official confirmation from the Cambodian police regarding this matter.

This issue is a question mark by many, how did Twitch let it go rappiomatkaaja continue to love stream while he has violated the rules of Steam Twitch. Even in prison, he showed the bathroom facilities in the prison. This of course makes us remember the incident Dr. DisRespect at E3 2021, who did a live stream in public toilets and was immediately banned by Twitch for 2 weeks. Indeed the difference is that no one is using the bathroom other than rappiomatkaaja, while Doc, a lot of people were using the bathroom when he did a live stream and went into the bathroom.

Other questions that arose were how his cellmate, a New Zealand journalist, had a phone for gaming, how he was even allowed to stream, and how he got his phone and other personal belongings from guards. There seems to be some simple explanation for this, with rappiomatkaaja reportedly claimed to have bribed one of the guards to get his belongings back.

Another explanation is that he is not in a full prison, but more of a holding cell for immigrants, which makes more sense given the circumstances. This will allow him to store his personal stuff and stream on Twitch.
