Mortal Combat 11 releases next year.

At the Game Awards event today, Nether Realms studio head Ed Boon announced the studio’s newest game, Mortal Combat 11.

After the success of Mortal Combat X in 2021, Nether Realm followed that success with the latest game from this series, Mortal Combat 11. The trailer which was shown showed a brutal cinematic battle between Scorpion and Raiden. It looks like Nether Realm Studio seems to really focus on brutal actions and various fatalities for the gameplay. From the description listed on youtube, Mortal Combat 11 seems to be continuing the story mode from the previous game.

Mortal Combat will release on April 23 next year, but previously it will be interspersed with a community reveal on January 17 next year. Pre-orders can be made tomorrow, and users who pre-order will get access to Shao Khan characters and Beta Access, which hasn’t been announced when it will take place.
