Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Get Remake For Nintendo Switch!

The Pokemon community has recently been buzzing with rumors about a remake project for Gen 4. Fans’ curiosity has finally been answered through the latest Pokemon Presents presentation, where Pokemon Company officially announced Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. As you might expect, these two new games are remake versions of the original Diamond & Pearl series that were released on the Nintendo DS back in 2006.

This remake project was developed in collaboration with ILCA developers who are trying to recreate the game in an accurate remake version. To realize this idea, this game still offers chibi-style graphics when in the open-world and normal character models when in battle, but this time the game is wrapped in 3D graphics that look much more charming. Instead of being curious, you can see the announcement trailer below.

This fourth generation Pokemon game series will take you on an adventure as a Trainer in a region called Sinnoh. At the beginning of the game you will be given the opportunity to choose Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup as a starter Pokemon. This is where your great adventure to face the Gym Leaders throughout the Sinnoh region begins.

This remake project is very special, because Diamond & Pearl is recognized as the best generation. One of the reasons is that Gen 4 is filled with an incredible variety of Pokemon that also includes some of the most iconic Legendary Pokemon in the series. Some of these Pokemon include Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, to Arceus.

When is the Game Released?

For those of you who are interested in the game, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released on Nintendo Switch towards the end of 2021. You can monitor updated information on the game on the official website. HERE.
