This collaboration is aimed at the Girls’ Frontline anime adaptation project by studio Asahi Production.

Apart from opening official website which lists the anime’s release schedule in 2021, further details regarding this anime project are still very minimal. For those of you who are still unfamiliar with the game, Girls’ Frontline is a strategy RPG made by the developer MICA Team. The game, which was first released in 2016, immediately gained a huge fan base until the game was released globally. The uniqueness of the game lies in the representation of the weapon that is made into a human form called T-Doll, which is strengthened by the ability of each weapon. In addition, the strategy gameplay offered is also very evocative with various types of typical military missions for players to complete.

Girls’ Frontline has also been involved in various collaboration events with other games. This includes a franchise expansion to the manga Girls’ Frontline: The Song of Dolls. Not only that, the development team has even prepared a sequel to the game, entitled Girls’ Frontline II: Exile. This does not include the two Girls’ Frontline spin-off games: Glitch and Project Neural Cloud which are all still in development.
