Cue Back As Active Player
It’s been a month since Peter “ppd” Dager resigned as captain of the Dota 2 Evil Geniuses team and assumed his new role in the organization as Evil Geniuses business manager. In an interview Peter “ppd” Dager hinted that he would return as an active player.
ppd who joined EG since February 2014 has helped this team emerge as champions in Dota 2 Asia Championships, TI5 and various other LAN championships. Evil Geniuses then appointed his successor, Andreas ‘Cr1t’ Nielsen who previously played for OG, Cr1t who used to play as support will be the team captain at Evil Geniuses.
Andreas ‘Cr1t’ Nielsen achieved various achievements with the OG team such as DreamLeague Season 4, DreamLeague Season 5, ESL One Frankfurt 2016, Frankfurt Majors and Manila Majors. Recently ppd traveled to Toronto to watch the Canada Cup tournament with the Street Fighter team from the Evil Geniuses team.
Interviewed by Score esports, ppd revealed the motivations that made him transition from an active player to team manager, the new captaincy role of Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen and the possibility of him re-activating as a professional player. Here is the interview:
