Dragalia Lost Review, High-end RPG Mobile Game

Since 2016, Nintendo has been trying to try out the world of Mobile Games, for example by presenting several social games such as Super Mario Run, Miitomo, Fire Emblem Heroes and other games. Not satisfied with just that, Nintendo continues to strive to maintain its status as a giant in the gaming world, one of which is by collaborating with Cygames.

Cygames itself is a giant in the Japanese Mobile Game industry which is famous for its various games, such as Granblue Fantasy and Shadowverse. And this time the collaboration with Nintendo presents Dragalia Lost, a fresh, anime-style Mobile Action RPG game with action-packed gameplay.

The Storyline Is Filled With Puzzles With Various Unique Characters

Game Dragalia Lost tells the story of a prince (you can use the name of your favorite character) who is tasked with completing a pact with the dragons that guard the land of Alberia in order to regain the power of the Sacred Shard which is slowly losing its power.

Every dialogue in this game is given voice acting in Japanese. For the English version, it’s still limited. Each character in this game also has a unique personality with different background stories, so it is guaranteed that you will not be bored if you want to continue reading the story of each character that you have got.

Full Action RPG Action Gameplay

The gameplay system in Dragalia Lost is quite simple, where you just move the character by swiping the touch screen and then attack with a tap. The weapons of each character have their respective classifications and are equipped with 3 skills to help you in a battle.

Not only skills, each character can also turn into a dragon according to the dragon that has joined your party. This change is only temporary, because when time runs out, your character will automatically return to normal.

The interesting thing in this Dragolia Lost game is the use of the Raid system. Here you are required to be able to cooperate with 4 other parties in battle for the fight against dragons.

Each raid is limited to 4 minutes, so when the allotted time has expired, the boss will immediately issue his flagship move to defeat all characters.

So, team composition and good cooperation will determine the success of a raid.

Stylish Character Design With Colorful Music Background

Dragalia Lost has a stylish, colorful and fresh design. Each character is fully designed by renowned digital illustrator, Naoki Saito so that each character has its own uniqueness.

In addition to the colorful UI design, Dragalia Lost also features unique background music, such as the use of remixed, pop and up-beat songs for the soundtrack.

In conclusion, the collaboration between Cygames and Nintendo in order to present a high-end Mobile RPG game but still looks relaxed with amazing gameplay. Like Dragalia Lost, in the end, it was able to attract gamers’ interest.
