Zeys Explains the Reason for Not Playing in MPL ID S6

Bjorn”ZeysOng finally revealed his reason for not playing in MPL ID Season 6, even though his status this season was a player, not a coach.

After MPL ID Season 5 ended, Zeys decided to play a dual role, namely as a coach and also a player in the MPLI and Mytel International Championship events.

He played as a tanker in both events, but he couldn’t bring home the championship title for EVOS Legends.

In the end, he was officially announced as a player in MPL ID Season 6. This was done because of regulations that prohibit anyone from having multiple roles.

However, in the EVOS Legends match, Zeys was not seen playing. Their core formation is REKT, Wannn, Pendragonn, Rexxy and also Bajan. So there is a big question mark, what really happened to Zeys?

Reported by the ONE Esports page, EVOS Legends also explained this on his YouTube, Zeys revealed that he is now focused on helping the team off the field. He admitted that it was difficult to play a double role in the team.

“First of all is the visa issue. Second, I feel it is better to look at the team from a third person perspective to be able to help more, rather than focus on looking at myself,” he said.

“When I play it’s very hard to focus on my own game, because at the same time I also have to help the team as a whole.”

“So the thing that gives the most benefit is to look at it from another perspective, also to see the team from the big picture,” he added.
