1. Setup Controller for Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Trigger

The PlayStation 5 controller, DualSense, has several new features such as Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Trigger. Haptic Feedback replaces the DualShock’s vibration function, you can set it to be faster, standard, slower and even turned off.

If you have the PlayStation App application on your cellphone or gadget, you can activate the PlayStation 5 console remotely. This condition only applies when the PlayStation 5 is in Rest Mode. Follow the 2 screenshots of the System > Power Saving menu to find out where to activate the PlayStation 5 using the PS App or Remote Play.

Don’t forget to activate the previous Remote Play in the System menu too.

This is the most important thing if you don’t want to miss installing digital games or updating games that are actively being played. On the PlayStation 5 there are 3 options for Rest Mode: Optimized, Low Power, and Custom. This is especially useful if your home or the place where you use your PlayStation 5 has a low wattage or unstable power supply.
